About Us
Well to start off, this blog is about myself (Zack Boughton) and my brother Travis and any of our crazy friends that we enjoy our adventures with. We always have been interested in documenting our experiences in the outdoors whether it be skiing, golfing, fishing, and hunting and we wanted to do something more. We plan on documenting mainly our fishing and hunting escapades with photos and videos accompanied with our thoughts and stories. We hope this can turn into an embodiment of our lifestyle and the blessings we have. It also is hopefully something that people can enjoy and help keep them passionate about getting out and enjoying God’s country. We specialize in outdoor marketing, cinematography, photography, and video editing.

I just found your blog today. You guys are living the life. I have dreamt about moving my family and I to Montana for some time now. I am about 4 years away from making that a reality. We’d like to move to the Twin Bridges area. I have a lot to do considering I live in Pennsylvania. Keep going, its inspiring me to chase my dreams. God Bless.

Zack and Travis,
I discovered your site a few months back. I have been consistently coming back for the great videos and blogging. I lived in Montana for 8 years. Four of those years working and four in school at MSU. Fortunately I got into fly fishing and was able to do it for four years but only 2 of those years did I elk hunt. I now have the bug BAD! I am living in Minnesota now and can only dream of coming back for an elk hunt. I will make it happen someday though. I just wanted to say thank you for the time and effort you put into your site. I truly appreciate the quality of the videos. It almost makes me feel as if I am there! Makes me want to get out there just to hike around in the moutains. Keep them coming! And good luck in 2 weeks and all of hunting season.

I’m from South Carolina but everyone on my dad’s side of the family lived and grew up in Missoula. I loved hearing their old stories of hunting in the bob marshall or stalking elk. I am fortunate enough to have a wife that is willing to make the move out there. We will be leaving here in October. You guys have the life. Your videos are awesome and very well put together. I enjoy your vids more than watching baited hunts in Africa on the outdoor chanel. You guys are doing great and are teaching me a lot. Keep up the great work guys.

I guess you can now say you’ve gone international now. I live in Victoria, Australia an both fly fish and hunt but replace your Elk with Sambar. Your videos have been brilliant in inspiring me to get back into fly fishing this year after a few years off. Please keep them coming and non commercialised, they really are awesome.
Cheers Neil

Love your website. Wish I could live the dream like you guys. Out of curiosity what kind of sink tip do you like to use for bull trout. The couple of times I’ve swung streamers for bulls I’ve used a 15 foot long tip that sinks quite fast and it seems like my streamer always ends up either above or below the fish, but never in front of them. Thanks

I honestly can’t remember off the top of my head. Having a streamer that sunk well was the ticket for us.

Chad, once we found out that hunting and fly fishing were our passion, the rest was history. We saved every scrap of money so that we can put it towards our adventures here in Montana. Hit us up sometime for a beer.

Fellas, your videos, pictures, and blog are inspirational. I got lucky and got in on a trip from NY (where i live), to Routt National Forest, Colorado for an elk hunt this past November. I’m 24 and this was my first year hunting, so I was just happy to take in the scenery, but on the last day in the final 30 minutes of daylight, I connected with a massive 7×7 bull! Like an idiot, i misplaced my camera while packing and bought a disposable. The photo’s would not develop and needless to say, I am heartbroken. My hunting and fly fishing adventures most likely require a waterproof camera that take great pictures. Your photography truly sparks emotion and reminds me of the scenes I failed to capture. My question to you guys is: what kind of camera(s) do you use? Also, please keep crankin’ out more episodes because it is the most entertaining hunting show I’ve ever watched!
